My name is Hoang Thanh Nguyen. I am currently a Boya postdoctoral fellowship at Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research-Peking University. I received my doctorate at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in May 2019 under the guidance of Prof.Chris Hruska.

My research interests are in geometric group theory and low-dimensional topology. In particular, I am interested in quasi-isometry classification, geometric relationship between a 3-manifold group and its subgroups, and groups acting on manifolds. Here is a copy of my CV
